Lelik: cancer, four pellets and a chance at life

He was found by a garbage bin — with ear cancer and four air-gun pellets in his body. No metastases: Lelik has a chance, and that chance depends on us.

Every one of them survived the street. Now they just need someone to say: “You’re mine.”

Our mission

Fixing the cause, not just the symptoms

Association HOG takes an analytical, strategic approach to animal welfare. We started in the municipality of Čajetina, and our final goal is a world with no abandoned animals on the street.

Spay & neuter

With certified vets we run spay/neuter campaigns — the only lasting path to empty streets.

Treatment & transport

Vet checks, therapy and transport for injured and sick strays.

Education

Workshops for kids and adults about responsible ownership and animal welfare.

Accountability

We work with local authorities and report irresponsible owners to the inspectors.

Questions & answers

All questions
How do I know the money really reaches the animals?

We publish annual financial reports and, for every appeal, a donations-and-costs sheet with receipts — all available on this site. We’re all volunteers and nobody takes a salary.

Is paying with an IPS QR code safe?

Yes. IPS QR is the National Bank of Serbia standard. You scan the code in your own bank app, check the details and confirm — we never see your card or account details. The money arrives within seconds.

Can I give every month?

Yes — and it means the most to us, because it lets us plan treatments and food. Set up a standing order in your e-banking with our details (choose “Monthly” in the donation form to get everything in one place).

Can I donate food or supplies instead of money?

Of course. Food, pads, litter, bedding, blankets and flea & tick protection are always welcome. Write to us and we’ll arrange a pick-up.

I’m abroad — how can I donate?

Email us at udruzenje.hog@gmail.com and we’ll send you the details for an international transfer.

Why you?

Because we’re the only animal welfare organization in the district. Without us there’s no one here to treat, spay/neuter and rehome abandoned animals — and spay/neuter is the only lasting way to reduce their numbers.

Don’t look away.

Get involved, donate, share, adopt — do anything, just don’t look away.
