Become a foster

A foster gives a dog a temporary home until it finds its family. The dog recovers in a clean, safe place, learns home habits and gets adopted more easily — while we give its place in paid boarding to the next dog from the street.

Questions

Who pays for food and the vet while I foster?

We do — from donations. The foster provides a home, care and love; we cover food, vet costs and supplies and stay with you every step of the way.

What if I get attached?

The most beautiful risk! If you want to keep the dog, fostering can become adoption. And if not — you saved its life and opened the door to a new family.

Do I need experience?

No. We tell you everything we know about each dog and advise you. Goodwill, patience and a safe space are what matter.

Can I volunteer if I don’t live in Zlatibor?

Yes — social media, design, translation and fundraising can all be done remotely.
